Overview
The Advanced Commission course focuses on setting up commissions using the Flexible Commission Exception maintenance screen. It also covers defining Order Taker commissions and reflecting execution commission onto a clearing broker.

The course is mainly geared towards those within your company who will be responsible for setting up and maintaining commission rates for clearing and execution in the system.

To provide the skills and knowledge to maintain and troubleshoot the flexible commission exception set up
What skills will delegates gain?
This course will enable participants to:
- Use the Flexible exception screen to set up exception scenarios for clearing and execution commission.
- Reduce static data set up by using the default class option in the EXCEPTMNT screen.
- Use the Flexible exception screen for both Order Taker and Execution Broker commission set-ups.
- Define commissions by Order Taker.
- Maximise processing cycles by defaulting the order taker according to the Ledger`s client business type on trade entry.
- Default the Order Taker according to Exchange.
- Differentiate and use the different client business types on Ledger to categorise client and clearing broker accounts according to Commission Status.
- Understand how to use the new Execution commission methods recently introduced to RANsys.
- Understand how to set up clearing brokers to reflect Execution Commissions.
- Recognise new reports introduced to RANsys for Order Taker commission and EXCEPTMNT reporting.
Prerequisite
Participants will need to have completed the Charge Table course.
