The Reporting & enquiry course is designed to cover the reporting and enquiry functions on the RANsys system.

The course is mainly geared towards those within your company who will be responsible for trade reconciliation and customer services.
Objectives
To provide the skills and the knowledge to make effective use of the RANsys reporting and enquiry functionality.
What skills will delegates gain?
This course will enable participants to:
- Understand the report manager function and the report naming convention.
- Understand keystrokes required for report navigation.
- Create a report on-line and backdated, and view the report on screen.
- Understand the revaluation facility on the System and understand how to input revaluation prices, run a revaluation and create reports after a revaluation has been run.
- Insert, Amend, Delete and Copy Report Definitions using menu function REPDEF.
- Understand how to create selection lists and include them on a report definition.
- Insert, amend, delete and enquire on Print Requirements from the overnight reporting requirements.
- Use the main static data enquiry screens: Ledger enquiry, Instrument enquiry, Parameter enquiry, Charges enquiry, Charges Selection Enquiry and Deposit Rate Enquiry.
- Use the MAINENQ enquiry function to perform enquiries by Ledger and by Instrument on open positions, closed positions, margins and postings.
- Create his or her own balances report using the Status report writer.
