The Task Automation Module is an extremely flexible, fully customisable, automated task management system.

The solution has the functionality to run jobs containing individual or multi-tasks as defined by the user. It can be used to automate and schedule a series of functions, such as running a program, transmitting email and fax messages, performing a reconciliation or archiving data.

As well as being able to communicate with the Rolfe & Nolan system the Task Automation Module can also exchange data with other applications and host systems.

How the Task Automation Module works

• The Task Automation Module comprises a basic `shell` to which components can be added. Each component contains a variety of different tasks and only the components that are required, need to be purchased.
• Each task performs a specific function and contains user defined variables. Each job contains one or more associated tasks.
• The solution`s flexibility means that jobs can be run either manually or automatically at a time specified by the user.
• Wizards are available as a quick and easy alternative to creating a job manually. A wizard contains a set of tasks required in order to create a particular type of job. After the user has created a job with a wizard, further tasks can be added to the job if required.

The Task Automation Module is designed to be used on a PC and has an easy-to-use graphical interface, online help and documentation.
